- To Apply for Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, the applicant has to make the application online via link
- The applicant has to click the “Self-Enrollment”
- Enter the mobile number and click the “Proceed” button.
- The applicant will receive the OTP on the given mobile number.
- Enter the OTP and click the “Proceed” button.
- From the service option, the applicant has to select the Enrolment section.
- Select the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana.
- Now enter the details in the application form and click the “Submit” button.
- Also, upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- After completing with all the details click the “Submit” button.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- After enrollment, you'll need to select a Pension Fund Manager (PFM) from the list of PFMs provided under the scheme. The PFM manages your contributions and administers your pension account.
- As a beneficiary of PM-SYM, you will need to make regular contributions towards the pension fund. The contribution amount depends on your age at the time of joining. A part of this contribution will also be paid by the government.
- Once you reach the age of 60, you'll be eligible to receive a pension under the scheme. The amount of pension will depend on the contributions made and the terms of the scheme at the time of your enrollment.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
Apply In Person
- To Apply for Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, the applicant has to approach the MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, PRADHAN MANTRI AWAAS YOJANA-GRAMIN link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit the application form and the documents to the authorized officer.
- There is a nominal enrollment fee for PM-SYM, which you will need to pay. The fee varies based on your age, as younger individuals have to contribute less.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.

- To Apply for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, the applicant has to approach a nearby Common Service Centre (CSC) link
Note: The applicant has to select their state, district and block from the drop-down menu or the applicant can click on their respective district to find nearby centre.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
- The applicant has to attach the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page (If required).
- Submit the completed application, document and applicable fees to the centre staff.
- The application submitted will be processed and a receipt with the application number will be issued.

The applicant is eligible to apply for the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-SYM) if you meet the following criteria:
- You are an Indian citizen.
- You are between the ages of 18 and 40 years.
- You are not a member of any other pension scheme, such as the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) or the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-SYM) is a government-sponsored pension scheme for unorganised sector workers in India. It was launched in 2019 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- Under the scheme, workers can contribute a monthly premium of Rs. 55, Rs. 100 or Rs. 200. The government will match the contribution on a 50:50 basis.
- After 20 years, workers will receive a monthly pension of Rs. 3,000, Rs. 6,000 or Rs. 9,000, depending on the premium they have paid.
