Procedure

Apply Online

1. To Apply for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the applicant has to make their application online via link
2. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “Register Now” button.
3. Enter all the registration details and click the “Submit” button.
4. Now the applicant has to log in with the username and password and click the “LOGIN” button.
5. The applicant has to select the form from the menu list.
6. Enter all the details in the application form.
7. And upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. Pay the prescribed amount fee in online mode.
9. Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
10. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
11. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
12. The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
13. The applicant will attend the skill development training as per the schedule provided by the training center.
14. Upon successful completion of the training program, the applicant will be assessed, and if the applicant meets the required standards, they will receive a certification.
15. PMKVY also provides employment assistance to candidates who complete the training. The training center may help to find job opportunities related to newly acquired skills.
16. If the applicant qualifies for job placement through the PMKVY scheme, the training center or the scheme's implementing agency will assist the applicant in the placement process.
17. This entire process can be completed within 30 - 40 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply In-Person:

4. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
5. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), one must meet the following criteria:

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen or a permanent resident of India.
