Apply In-Person:
For Indane:

  1. To apply for the Indane LPG gas new connection, visit the nearest Indane distributor of your area.
  2. To locate your nearest gas agency click here Search nearby office. Enter your pin code and click “Show” to get the details.
  3. Now approach your nearest Indane office and register for the new connection with valid proof of identity.
  4. Make sure that you have all the mandatory documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
  5. On registration, the distributor will send you an intimation letter through registered post. You need to carry the letter and the envelope to the distributor to avail the connection.
  6. The Indane gas connection will be released to you immediately. For release of your Indane connection you will be required to pay security deposit.
  7. On payment of requisite deposit, you will be issued a Subscription Voucher [SV], which you must keep safely. You will require it at a later date when you desire to shift your connection from one distributor to another or when you surrender the connection.
  8. The Indane Distributor will issue a booklet called the Domestic Gas Consumer Card (DGCC), containing particulars of your LPG connection.
  9. The distributor’s staff enter the details of Indane supplies and other allied services. Keep the booklet handy whenever you receive your Indane supplies.
  10. Distributor’s staff shall update your refill supplies details in the same. Please read the information on safety given in the DGCC book.
  11. At the time of installation of the connection in your kitchen, the Distributor's staff will demonstrate how to use the LPG equipment safely.


For HP:

  1. To apply for the HP LPG gas new connection, visit the nearest HP gas distributor of your area.
  2. To locate your nearest gas agency click here Link and Dealer locator.
  3. Now register for the new connection with valid proof of identity and proof of residence.
  4. Get the KYC form from the respective centre or download it from the following  Form
  5. Make sure that you have all the mandatory documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
  6. On registration, the distributor will send you an intimation letter through registered post. You need to carry the letter and the envelope to the distributor to avail the connection.
  7. The HP gas connection will be released to you immediately. For release of your HP connection you will be required to pay security deposit.

Apply Online:For Indane – SAHAJ (e-SV):

  1. To apply for the Indane LPG gas new connection through online visit the following New connection
  2. If you are a registered user then click login in the right side of the page.
  3. If you are a new user then click here New user
  4. After successful registration, you will be taken to the home page where you have to select “Apply for New Connection”
  5. Now you will be taken to the application form page where you have to enter all the mandatory details and select the product as applicable, then click “Save & Continue”.
  6. Then you will be directed to the sections like required documents, other details and declaration.
  7. After successful submission of application form, an email will be sent to you for confirmation
  8. Once you have received the email with the registration link, you have to complete the application process.
  9. You need to upload the scanned copy of your POI (Proof of Identity) and POA (Proof of Address), and Aadhaar for PAHAL (DBTL)
  10. Upon completion of the online application, you will receive the registration number for new connection request
  11. Your application will be on wait-list till the distributor releases the wait-list
  12. You can expect a text and e-mail notification when your application gets approved.
  13. After approval, you will get the link to pay the charges online.
  14. Once payment process is complete, you will receive an email regarding “New connection order transaction”
  15. After few days, you will receive e-SV on your mail. Please download it and take a printout copy.
  16. Your cylinder will be auto booked. After receiving the cylinder, you have to submit some documents to the distributor, which will be instructed to you through mail.


For HP gas:

  1. To apply for the HP LPG gas new connection through online visit the following New connection.
  2. Now search for the distributor either by Name wise or Location wise.
  3. If you search by Name wise, then enter the distributor name and click “Search” tab.
  4. If you search by Location wise, then select the State, District and distributor. Now you will get the distributor contacts. Now choose the distributor and click the “Next” tab.
  5. Now you will be taken to the application form page where you have to enter all the mandatory details and upload the necessary documents, then click “Submit”.
  6. Then follow the screen instructions to complete the application process.


For Bharat gas:

  1. To apply for the Bharat LPG gas new connection through online visit the following New connection.
  2. Now select the State, District and click “Show list” to get the list of distributors. Now you will get the distributor contacts. Now choose the distributor and click the “Continue” tab.
  3. Now you will be taken to the application form page where you have to enter all the mandatory details and upload the necessary documents, then click “Submit”.
  4. Then follow the screen instructions to complete the application process.

InstructionsEdit

  • Check the seal of the cylinder.
  • Check the safety cap. It should not have any cracks.
  • Remove safety Cap and check for leakage from the valve. Usually in case of any leakage from the Cylinder valve, the safety cap will pop off at the time of removal. This can be further reaffirmed by placing your thumb on the cylinder valve.
  • Get the new cylinder connected with the hotplate and make sure that no leakage is observed.
  • Pay the cash and acknowledge the 2nd copy of the cash memo / refill voucher
