- To Apply Online for a Provident Fund Claim (PF Claim), the applicant has to make their application online via link
- The applicant has to log in with UAN and password, captcha code, and click the “Sign in” button.
- Click on the “Manage” tab and select KYC to check whether the KYC details such as Aadhaar, PAN, and bank details are verified or not.
- Once the KYC details are verified, click the “Online Services” tab and select the option “Claim (Form-31, 19 10C & 10D)” from the drop-down menu.
- Enter all the details in the application form.
- Also, enter the bank account number and click the “Verify” button.
- Click on “Yes” to sign the certificate of the undertaking and then proceed.
- Now, the applicant has to click on “Proceed for Online Claim”
- Complete the online PF claim form, which will include details such as the reason for withdrawal, the amount you want to withdraw, and other relevant information.
- And upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- There is no fee for a PF claim.
- Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
- The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application.
- The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
- Once the claim is approved and processed, the funds will be transferred to the bank account linked to your UAN.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
