Procedure

Online

1. Applying online is easy, and you will be able to print the Certificate out right once your done with the application process.
2. Before you begin your online application make sure that you have the following items ready:
   1. A valid personal or organisational digital certificate issued by recognised Certification Authorities for authentication.
   2. Either a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or a PPS account number and Internet password for payment. Both Visa and MasterCard offer additional security programs to give their cardholders extra protection when they make online payments. You must register in advance with Verified by Visa (VbV) or MasterCard SecureCodeTM.
   3. A printer to print out the hard copy of the acknowledgement page and the Certificate.
3. Start your online application - Link.

By Post
You may also apply for the procedure by post but compare to the online application the Certificate will be sent to you by registered post within 10 working days upon receipt of your application.

Eligibility

Online Application

You can apply online if you meet the following criteria:

• You are at least 18 years old and hold a valid personal digital certificate issued by recognised Certification Authorities.
• You are the authorised person of a limited company who holds a valid organisational digital certificate opened with a Certificate of Incorporation.

Certificate of Particulars of Vehicle: HKD45

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
