Hong Kong - Apply for Pawnbrokers Licence
ProcedureEdit
- To apply for a Pawnbrokers Licence, you will need to file an application with the Liquor and Miscellaneous Licensing Department.
- A link to the application form is provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can use to download it. Forms can also be obtained from the Police Licensing Office at 12/F, Arsenal House, Police Headquarters.
- Completed forms may either be submitted to the Police Licensing Office in person or via mail.
- Pay the application fee.

Need for the DocumentEdit
A Pawnbrokers Licence is a licence granted by the Commissioner of Police to a person to carry on business as a pawnbroker. A pawnbroker refers to a person carrying on business by advancing on interest, or for or in expectation of profit, gain or reward, any sum of money on the security of goods taken by such person in pawn.
