The benefit of reservation under EWS can be availed upon production of an income and asset certificate issued by a respective authority.
Apply In-Person

  1. To apply, applicant has to go to the thasildhar office. Link for contact : Link1 and link2 please click on the respective district names to reach the district website. In the given page select “Directory” menu option and select the respective option provided to get the contact details. (If the directed page shows error message then, add https:// before the name of the district as per the given page. E.g. if the www.xyzdistrict.nic.in/ page shows error message then type ” https://xyzdistrict.nic.in/” to open it.
  2. Application form can be obtained from the office while you visit. Applicant can also download the form through the link provided in our document session.
  3. Complete the form. Affix the passport size photo. Attach all the required documents and submit it to the respective receiving authority in the office. (please follow the authorities advise to complete the process, if any revenue stamp to be affixed – please affix as advised).
  4. Applicant should provide mobile number to get SMS alerts about status. Authorities will check for the details and documents. Documents will be cross verified with originals. So, carry originals while applying. If all are in place, this application request will be entered in the respective registry or in the computer for further processing.
  5. A reference number will be given to the applicant for the application submitted. Keep it safe for future reference.
  6. Authorities will also mention a approximate date for issuance of certificate.
  7. Thasildhar will process the application through his authorities. The internal processing such as verification/Inspection/authenticity of the documents submitted will take place.
  8. Besides verification of village/area accounts, administrative officers should conduct local enquiry. The revenue inspector and the deputy thasildhar should also conduct a discreet enquiry before recommending the EWS certificate.
  9. If the results are satisfactory, thasildhar will decide on the issuance of certificate.
  10. Once the certificate is ready, applicant will be notified to collect the certificate from the office.
  11. This certificate will have the declaration from the authority undersigned with valid timeline and photo of the applicant.
  12. On the said date collect the certificate from the respective office where the applicant applied. Applicant has to sign in the registry and receive the certificate.
Note:
Soon after issue of the income and asset certificate, all such certificates will be uploaded on the district website.
This certificate is subjected to cancellation, if any of the provided document Or information is fabricated in order to get the benefits.



Apply Online

  1. Use the following link to reach online portal. Link: Apply Online
  2. Please select “Economically Weaker Section Certificate” option provided under important services list to get the new page.
  3. Please go through the details and click “Login to Apply” button at the bottom to get login panel.
  4. Please use the login credentials as appropriate and click “Submit” button to login.
    1. If you are a new user, then use the “New Registration” option to reach “Register New User” page. Please enter the details as applicable and click “Register” button at the bottom to register and login.
  5. Once login, please click “New Application” button.
  6. Please complete the sections (Applicant personal details, Address detail, etc) as prompted with mandatory details and upload documents as applicable under Upload Documents section.
  7. Once all the above requirements are completed, please click the “Submit” button.
  8. Please follow the onscreen information.
  9. Applicant gets acknowledgement for submission. Keep it safe for future reference.
  10. This application will be processed and the status of application will be notified through SMS to the registered mobile number.
  11. Please follow the department notification to get the certificate.
  12. This certificate shall be hand delivered or delivered as per applicable norms.

Note: Applicant shall download the digital certificate using track “TRACK APPLICATION” option.

Apply through Centres:

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
  4. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  5. The operator will process the application online.
  6. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
  7. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the documents submitted along with the form.
  8. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
  9. Use the acknowledgment slip to get the certificate in a stipulated period of time.

EligibilityEdit

  • Applicant from general category.
  • Family income below 8 lakhs INR or as per state norms.
  • Family owned agricultural land less than 5 acres.
  • Residential flat owned by family which is less than 1000 sq.ft.
  • Residential plot less than 100 sq. Yards and 200 sq. Yards in selected municipalities as per the state norms.
