Procedure

Apply In Person:

1. The license/permission for demolishing any building is provided by the concerned authorities in the Municipal Corporation. Contacts
2. The application form has to be obtained from the authorities in the respective district Municipal Corporation.
3. The prescribed application form for building demolition is Form 12.
4. The application form has to be handwritten by the person/owner/agent applying for demolition purposes.
5. The application form has to be submitted along with the required documents prescribed by the authorities.
6. Make sure that you have all the documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. The fee estimation will be provided by the authorities based on the building type and its location.
8. Before the demolition, the owner has to make sure to disconnect the supplies to the building such as
   • Water Supply
   • Electricity Supply
   • Sewage Connection
9. After supervising everything the authorities will provide permission to demolish the building.

Required Documents

The documents that are necessary for the building demolition permission are:

• A copy of title/ownership documents.
• A copy of the latest original tatima.
• Three sets of Location Plan on the scale of 1:1000.
• Three sets of Site Plan on the scale of 1:200.
• A copy of the Structural Stability Certificate.
• A copy of the Soil Investigation Report.
• In these, one set of copies should be laminated.
• All the documents should be self-attested by the owner of the building.
• Extra copies if demanded by the authorities
• NOC certificate from the Neighbour (if the building is Semi-Detached)
