Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To renew Goods Carriage Permit in Haryana the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which his area belongs to.

3. Application form can be downloaded using the following link: Application forms
   
4. Completed application form for renewal (can be obtained from respective RTO)
   
5. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
   
6. Application forms can also be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices that can be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
   
7. Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
   
8. Important verifications for the permit includes Vehicle condition, Body built arrangements etc... Will be carried by authorities.
   
9. After checking the vehicle for its correctness and other appropriate requirements the application will be processed further.
   

Apply Online

1. Use the following link : Parivahan Home page and select “Permit Online” option under Other online services
   
2. Select Haryana in the drop down menu and click “proceed”
   
3. Please follow the screen and fill in prompted details to process your online procedure
   
4. Upload required documents and take printout of acknowledgement.
   
5. On the appointment date, go to RTO office before 11:30 am and submit the documents. Once you submit and pay the fee, rest of the procedure will happen as per how you apply in person.

• Enter the application number as prompted and click “Get user Details” to process online in getting appointment
  
  

Apply Online:

1. To Renew Goods Carriage Permit, use the following Link : Link and select “Permit Online” option under Other online services
2. Now Select Haryana in the drop down menu and click “proceed”
3. Please follow the screen and fill in prompted details to process your online procedure
4. Upload required documents and take printout of acknowledgement.
5. On the appointment date, go to RTO office before 11:30 am and submit the documents.
6. Once you submit and pay the fee, rest of the procedure will happen as per the processing time.

Apply through Centres:

1. To Renew Goods Carriage Permit in Haryana, the applicant shall visit the nearest EDisha / Antyodaya Saral Kendra. Find contacts to EDISHA / ANTYODAYA SARAL KENDRA centres in the Link provided: Link
2. The applicant may also sign in through the web portal mentioned above and provide the required information for the process.
3. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the permit.
4. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
5. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
6. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
7. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the edisha centre.
8. Obtain the new permit from the concerned office.

3. Registration Certificate of the vehicle.
   
4. Fitness Certificate of the vehicle.
   
5. Proof of payment of tax for the current quarter.
   
6. Insurance Certificate.
   
7. Payment of green tax wherever applicable.

9. No object certificate from the financier if the vehicle concerned is covered by HPA Lease / Hypothecation.

Eligibility

• You should be the owner of the vehicle.
  
• The age of the vehicle should not exceed 12 years

Validity

• Permit is usually valid for 5 years
  
• The renewal of permit can be obtained with Vehicle fitness certificate and FC as per authorities of concerned RTO
  
• The age of the vehicle is also considered to restrict the validity of the permit

Need for the Document

1. “National Goods Carriage Permit” means a permit granted by authority to a goods carriage vehicle to operate in more than four states in India
   
2. The age of the vehicle should not exceed 12 years to apply for this permit
   
3. This permit need to be renewed before the validity of the permit lapses to apply the vehicle for the service.
   
4. Vehicles with this permit……
   
   • Be used only in a specified area or on a specified route or routes
     
   • That goods of a specified nature shall not be carried
     
   • That goods shall be carried at specified rates etc.;
     
5. National Goods Carriage National Permit means a permit granted by authority to a goods carriage vehicle to operate through-out India or in such States not being less than four in number including the states in which the permit is issued

• Holder of the permit shall furnish to the Regional Transport Authority such periodical returns, statistics and other information as the State Government may, from time to time, prescribe.
• FC (for clearance) is a process meant for reviewing the condition of the vehicle by the RTO authorities
