Haryana - Online Register a Marriage
- Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Registering a Marriage
- Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
- Step 3 : In this screen, please scroll down and look for “Click here to Apply” tab and click it. Refer the below image where it is highlighted in RED.
- Step 4 : Now you will be redirected to the saralharyana portal. Here, please click “New user ? Register here” option which is highlighted in Yellow.
- Step 5 : Now enter the mandatory details and click “Validate” button which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 6 : You will get the popup box displaying the message as OTP has been to the registered mobile number and Email ID. Click “Ok” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image to get the next page.
- Step 7 : Now enter the OTP in the appropriate textbox and click “Submit” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 8 : In this page you can find some general instructions. Please go back to the login page to continue the process of applying.
- Step 9 : Now enter the Login ID and Password under “SIGN IN HERE” section. Enter the verification text and click “SUBMIT” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 10 : In this page select “View all available services” under “Apply for services” section which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image. Then type as “marriage” in the search box. Refer the below image where it is pointed out by a Yellow arrow. Now a list of available services related to marriage will be displayed. Please select “Marriage Registration (Rural)” option which is highlighted in RED.
- Step 11 : Now complete the registration form with valid details. Please complete all the sections.

- Step 12 : Now upload the necessary photographs under “Attach Photographs” section. Then click the checkbox which is highlighted in Yellow under Declaration section. Then click “Submit” tab which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image.

- Step 13 : On the said date, applicant along with the witness shall present before the registrar. Please submit the printout and acknowledgement as obtained.
- Step 14 : Please follow the guidelines of the authorities to complete the formalities for registration.
- Step 15 : Applicant and witness will be asked to sign on the registry to endorse their marriage.
- Step 16 : The Certificate will be issued on the same day for the already solemnized marriage.
- Step 17 : In case of the application made in advance(before marriage) for the issuance of certificate, authorities will look for any objection from public for thirty days and then the process will be executed on the day of marriage by a assigned authority and the certificate will be issued as applicable.
