Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Approach the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) or Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) and collect the Application form or download it form the link: Link or Link
2. Refer to the “Office Locations & Contacts” section in this procedure to see the respective address and contact details.
3. Fill in the form and submit it at the respective office along with the required documents.
4. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
5. The applicant will be contacted by respective officer /Call Centre Representative on email/mobile provided by you for verification.
6. Once verification and payment procedure is successful, connection will be effected according to consumer’s application.<br.

1. To apply for a new temporary connection online navigate to the link: Link
2. Click on “Apply” button under Apply Online.
3. A new page will appear consisting of the application form.
4. Fill in all the details. Refer to the “Required Information” section on this procedure for more details.
5. Upload all the mandatory documents. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
6. After filling all the details and uploading documents, click on “Apply”.
7. The application is now successfully submitted.

9. Temporary New Connection Applied Successfully message will be shown along with the application no.
10. The respective authority will visit the provided site for inspection.
11. On satisfactory inspection in all respect by the officials payment has to be done accordingly.
12. After payment, connection will be effected according to consumer’s application

Processing Time

The date of availing the temporary supply may be got amended by the consumer, by applying to the authority who has issued the orders before the commencement date indicated in the order. However, any alternate date proposed shall commence within 15 days of the date of the first order.
