Procedure

Apply In-Person

• To apply for Temporary vehicle permit in Haryana the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which his area belongs to.

• Application form can be downloaded using the following link: Application forms
  
• Make sure you have completed appropriate application Form (can be obtained from your RTO)
  
• Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
  
• Application forms can also be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices
  
• Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
  
• Important verification’s for the permit includes Vehicle condition, Body built, seating arrangements etc., Will be carried by authorities.
  
• After checking the vehicle for its correctness and other appropriate requirements the application will be processed further.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following Link to locate the centre according to the respective district: Link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
4. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
5. The operator will process the application online.
6. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
7. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
8. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the documents submitted along with the form.
9. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
10. Use the acknowledgment slip to get the license in a stipulated period of time.

1. Appropriate form for temporary vehicle permit
   
2. Registration Certificate of the vehicle.
   
3. Fitness Certificate.
   
4. Proof of payment of tax for the current Quarter.
   
5. Insurance Certificate.
   
6. No object certificate from the financier if the vehicle concerned is covered by HPA / Lease / Hypothecation.
   
7. Payment of green tax wherever applicable.
   
8. Passport size photo-2
   
9. Pollution under control certificate
   
10. Aadhaar Card

Validity

• Temporary permits are valid for 4 months
  
• Usually the renewal of permit can be obtained with Vehicle fitness certificate and FC as per authorities of concerned RTO in the matter of regular permits
