Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for electrical contractor license is available in the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission contact link
2. Applicant must provide all information that are requested in the application form.
3. Applicant should carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing the procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is given under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their license.
8. After getting the notification, applicant can visit the office to get their license.
9. Generally, the processing time for this procedure is 3 months.
10. If there is no update regarding the license is provided by concerned authorities, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
    

Apply Online:

1. Visit the following portal: portal.
2. Click on “Register here” and fill in all the details required.
3. Choose the service type as “licenses”.
4. An email will be sent with a username Link.
5. Clicking it will redirect to the sign in page.
6. Click on “sign in” and fill the email and password to get logged in.
7. Now fill the profile details as asked and click on the “save” button.
8. Follow the prompts on the screen to submit the application successfully.
9. Consistently check the notification address to download the license.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following Link to locate the centre according to the respective district: Link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
4. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
5. The operator will process the application online.
6. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
7. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
8. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the documents submitted along with the form.
9. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
10. Use the acknowledgment slip to get the license in a stipulated period of time.

Eligibility

The licence is valid for 65 years of age of the licence holder.
