Haryana - Apply for Duplicate Residential (Domicile) Certificate

Apply In-Person:
- To apply for a duplicate residential certificate, the applicant has to approach the revenue department authorities or tahsildar or circle officer. Please tap on the following Link for contact details: link.
- Get the relevant application form from the authorities and fill the form with valid details appropriately.
- Make sure to have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
- Submit the form along with the required documents to the authorities.
- Now collect the acknowledgement slip from the authorities.
- After the verification process, the applicant will receive the duplicate copy of the residential certificate.
Apply Online:
- Go to the SARAL Portal: portal. If not registered on SARAL Portal, then the applicant needs to register as a citizen in order to avail services by clicking on the SignUp Link provided.
- Please fill the required fields along with a valid email and mobile number to get notifications.
- Login to the SARAL Portal with the credentials and click on the “Apply for services” Link provided on the navigation bar on the left side.
- In the sub-menu choose “View Services”. On that page, a list of services provided to citizens is displayed.
- In order to avail Haryana Resident Certificate (Domicile), please choose “Haryana Resident Certificate(Domicile)” from the list of services.
- Now, choose the Applicant Type and fill all the required fields and click the “submit” button.
- A summary of the application request is shown on this page. Please check all the details are filled correctly.
- An acknowledgement page is displayed and the applicant can take a print of it or save it. Please note the SARAL Id provided. It will be used to download the file.
- Now the application request is submitted successfully.
- Please go to the URL provided on the acknowledgement page, and enter the SARAL Id there and click download. The certificate will be downloaded.
Apply through Centres:
- To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following Link to locate the centre according to the respective district: Link.
- Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
- It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
- The operator will process the application online.
- On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
- Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
- After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the documents submitted along with the form.
- Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
- Use the acknowledgment slip to get the certificate in a stipulated period of time.

- If the applicant is less than 18 years of age, then applicant should submit residence certificate of their parents.

EligibilityEdit
- Applicant should be the resident of the state.
- Applicant must be the citizen of India.
- Women who lived in another state but married to a man who is a permanent resident of this state can apply for residential certificate.
- Applicant whose residential certificate is lost / damaged can apply for duplicate certificate.
FeesEdit
Rs. 30 is charged as service charges at CSC.
ValidityEdit
Residential certificate is valid forever.
