Procedure

Residents of Haryana could get a new Drainage or Sewer connection through the following procedure.

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a drainage or sewer connection, one has to visit the concerned PHED divisional or sub divisional office in your area Office Contacts
2. To view the Municipality office locations, select your district and from the given link and select Directory > Public Utility > Municipalities Haryana Districts
3. Before applying, please consult with the concerned authority regarding all the requirements necessary for getting a new drainage connection.
4. Procure the application form for sewerage connection by paying the required fee.
5. You could also the download the application form from the “Documents to use” section of this page.
6. In the procured application form, fill all the required details.
7. Attach the photocopy of all the required documents with the application form.
8. Submit the documents at the respective PHED Office and receive the acknowledgement receipt.
9. The documents will be verified and if the application is eligible, the applicant will be notified to pay the charges. Rejected applications will be returned to the applicant with intimation.
10. Pay the service charges as instructed and register your connection and receive the acknowledgement receipt.
11. Obtain permission for road cutting from the respective department if required.
12. Your application will now be forwarded to the concerned area officer for sanction.
13. Site inspections will be made by the authority officers and any correction regarding the application will be notified to the applicant.
14. After all the requirements and changes have been met by the applicant, the work order will be issued for the connection.

Apply for Drainage (Sewer) Connection Online with Images

1. To apply online for a drainage or sewer connection, visit the Apply Online
2. If you are a new user, register a new account by selecting, “New User? Register Here” and fill your details and click on submit.
3. Now log in with your credentials.
4. Select “Sewer connection” from the services given under “Public Health and engineering Department”.
5. Fill all the required details in the displayed application form.
6. Upload the scanned copies of all the required documents.
7. Check for any corrections to be made before submitting the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
8. Pay the required processing fee for which you will receive the online receipt.
9. After successful submission of your application, you will receive the acknowledgement message through sms or e-mail.
10. You could check the status of your application by entering the application no. and captcha in the given Application Status
11. Your application will be further and necessary site inspections will be made with intimation.
12. Please keep the required documents ready during site inspection.
13. After all the requirements and changes have been met by the applicant, the connection will be provided.

Apply through Centres:

1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following Link to locate the centre according to the respective district: Link.
2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
4. The operator will process the application online.
5. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on the registered mobile number.
6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
7. An ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
8. Upon the satisfaction of the authorities, the connection will be provided in a stipulated period of time.

Note: Other required documents have to be submitted if necessary. Carry the original and photocopy of the necessary documents for any cross verifications to be made. Keep the original documents ready during site inspection.

Eligibility

• The building should have proper rainwater harvesting arrangements.
• Building and internal plumbing works have to be completed.
• Water Tax should have been paid up to date.
