To Apply for Ceramics Manufacturing License in India, the applicant must follow the steps provided below.

Step 1 - Choose a legal entity and Register a Company

  1. The applicant can choose to register Ceramics Manufacturing Company as a sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company (LLC), or corporation.
  2. The type of legal entity you choose will affect your taxes, liability, and other aspects of your business.
  3. After choosing the legal entity, register with Registrar of companies. It is advisable to approach accountant for this process.



Step 2 - Get a Factory License

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Ceramics Manufacturing License in India, the applicant has to approach the respective state department of Industry and labour health Link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer
  3. The applicant must fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)

  10. The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
  11. The authority conducts a onsite inspection to the premises, to ensure the safety standards.
  12. Once the authority satisfies with the application, the authority will issue the license.
  13. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
