Apply In-Person (Without exam):

  1. To apply for the Electrical Supervisor Certificate without exam, the applicant needs to fill up the application form: form A3 and submit it to the licensing board.
  2. The applicant also needs to submit the documents that are required for the procedure along with the application form.
  3. Refer to the “Required Documents” section to learn more.
  4. The applicant needs to pay Rs.500/- to the state government treasury or any of the state bank of India.
  5. The applicant can either upload it online or submit it directly by going to the Gandhi Nagar license office.


Apply in-person (With exam):

  1. To apply for the Electrical Supervisor Certificate with exam, the licensing board conduct the exam twice in two years.
  2. Refer to the eligibility section of this procedure to check if you are eligible for this exam or not.
  3. The applicant needs to fill and submit the form A1 along with the required documents.
  4. Refer to the “Required documents” section of this procedure to learn more.
  5. The applicant must then appear for the examination on the specific date.
  6. Once the results are out, the certificate/permit will be issued to the qualified candidates.

With exam:

  • Application form: Form A1
  • two photographs which are attested by a Magistrate or Government officials (Green ink Holder)
  • a challan of Rs.500 / – In the Gujarat state bank of India.
  • Experience certificate (FORM-K) from the licensed contractor and a copy of his staff register, wireman certificate and permit.
  • Applicant having more than 45 years, they have only oral tests.
  • If you need a license for mining operating means, you should mention the word “License application for Mines” at top and bottom of the application form.


Non-exam:

  • Filled Form A3 and blew mentioned documents to be given to the licencing board.
  • Email ID
  • Self-attested SSLC certificate
  • Self-attested degree certificate.

EligibilityEdit

  • The applicant must be a domicile of India.
  • The applicant should possess workmen Permit Class VIII pass.
  • The applicant should possess Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or must be a person with 10 (Ten) years experience in electrical works.
  • Gujarat state anyone such as fresh electrical engineer, wireman, Forman, charge –hands, and others can apply for the electrical supervisor license. In that, the electrical diploma or degree holder does not need to appear for the exam. The remaining person shall get the license after passing the exam only.


With exam:

  • Must have passed in electrical wireman exam.
  • SSLC + Minimum 4 year (in that 2 years worked as licensed) under a supervisor who has competency certificate.
  • ITI certificate + 3.5 years of practical experience


Non exam:

  • Degree or Diploma Certificate Holder
  • Other state Electrical supervisors


FeesEdit

  • Fees for the admission examination and test with every application Form for the first Certificate of Competency: Rs. 100/-
  • Fees for the admission into examination and test with every application Form for each additional or subsequent class of Certificate of competency: Rs. 50/-
  • Renewal fees for any class or classes of Certificate of Competency, if done within the time limit: Rs. 30/-
  • Penalty for late renewal of Certificate of Competency-
    • If renewed within a period of one year from the date of expiry: Rs. 20/-
    • If renewed within a period of five years from the date of expiry: Rs. 20/- for each year of default.
  • Fees for issue of a duplicate Certificate of Competency: Rs. 50/-


Note: -

  • The above rates shall also be applicable to candidates who have been exempted either partly or wholly from appearing in examination for a Certificate of Competency.
  • The fee details may vary according to each state.

  • The permits are to be renewed once in 5 years.
