Introduction

This procedure provides you information on how to apply for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License.

A list which displays the kind of information which is required to complete the procedure.
e.g.
1. Date of Birth.
2. City or County of Birth.

Procedure

  1. To apply for a CPA License, you will need to complete the application form. A link is provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can use to download the form.
  2. You must send your completed and signed application together with these following items:
    1. US$225.00 credit card, check, cashiers check or money order payable to GUAM BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY
    2. A 2 x 2 passport-type photo (less than 1 year old)
    3. A copy of your government issued Personal Photo Identification (passport, driver’s license, etc.) which must be in English
    4. Completed and endorsed Moral Character Reference Forms from three (3) different individuals
    5. Completed Experience Affidavit form(s) detailing 1 - 2 years' experience, verified by a U.S. Licensed CPA, as appropriate for your education level and desired license type
    6. Authorization for Interstate Exchange of Examination and Licensure Information (If you passed the CPA exam elsewhere and/or you are licensed in a jurisdiction other than Guam)
    7. Official college transcripts detailing all courses taken; foreign transcripts must be accompanied by a foreign academic credential evaluation (transcripts and evaluations must be sent separately and directly to the Board)
    8. Note: If you were a Guam CPA exam candidate, you do NOT need to RE-submit transcripts, evaluations or grades.

Required Documents

Fees

Application Fee: US$225.00

Note: Your payment may be in the form of a check, cashiers check or money order payable to GUAM BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY. You may also pay using a credit card.

Validity
