Goa - Apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

- The “Goa Teachers Eligibility Test (GTET)” is conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
- There will be an official notification release by the respective board for GTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the GTET.
Apply Online
- The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
- The applicant will reach the “Authentication Form” page. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. The applicant shall create their username and password. Once the mandatory detail are filled, please click on the “Sign Up” button at the bottom to reach a new page.
- Here, please click on the “I Accept” button to reach the “Log In” page.
- Here, please use the username and password at the applicable space as appropriate and click on the “SIGN IN” button to reach a new page.
- Here, please click on the “Application” button to reach the “Application Form” page. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate and click on the “Next” button to reach the “Application Registration Form” page.
- Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Once the mandatory details are filled, please click on the “Next” button to get a confirmation popup. Please click on the “OK” button to ge another popup with application ID. Please save the application ID and click on the “OK” button.
- The applicant will reach the “Upload Documents” page. Here, please complete the prompts as appropriate and upload the documents as applicable and click on the “Next” button to get a message popup.
- Please click on the ‘OK” button to get another popup. Please click on the “OK” button to reach the “Other Details” page.
- Please go through the declaration information. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Proceed to Payment” button to get a message popup.
- Please click on the ‘OK” button to get another popup. Please click on the “OK” button to get another message popup. Please click on the “OK” button to reach the payment gateway page.
- Please process the payment gateway page as per the online payment option as applicable to complete the submission of application. Also, the online application form will be provided for the user to download or save for future use.
- This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

EligibilityEdit
- The candidate should be the citizen of India.
- The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
- For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
- Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
- Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.
