Procedure

1. Go to the Civil Status Office on Secretarys Lane.
2. Complete request to obtain a copy of the certificate.
3. Submit completed form.
4. Be ready to present a valid identification.
5. Pay for the certificate.
6. It will take about 3 days for your request to be processed and for your certificate to be ready for pick up.

Marriage Certificates can be collected at the Civil Status Office, Secretarys Lane.

Registry Office

The records for births, deaths and marriages held in the registry office only date back as far as these dates:

• BIRTHS: 3rd October 1848 20th January 1887
• DEATHS: 1st January 1869 25th December 1912
• MARRIAGES: 10th April 1862 17th July 1902

If you are searching for records dating back further than the dates listed you will need to get in touch with the relevant church they mit be able to help you.
