Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a Police Fingerprint Clearance in person, the applicant has to visit the office of Ghana Police Service or any nearest Police station.
2. Address and contact details can be found in the following Contact link
3. Application form should be obtained from the nearest police station.
4. Read carefully through the application formas there contain different section.
5. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Fill the application as required with all the relevant details in the relevant sections for obtaining a Police Fingerprint Clearance.
8. The application form and attached documents should be submitted at the office of the Ghana Police Service or any nearest Police station.
9. After all the processes got over, the applicant will be issued with the Police Fingerprint Clearance Certificate.
