Apply In person

  1. To Apply for a Minor Passport in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Ghana Visa Application Centre (VAC) or Ghana immigration service office contact link
  2. Then, the applicant must obtain the application form from Ghana Visa Application Centre (VAC) or Ghana immigration service office.
  3. Fill up the application form. Do not forget to affix your right thumb print and sign the form. Please avoid making erasures on the form, erasures may result to your application being rejected. Exercise extreme caution in completing the forms as mistakes cannot be corrected once the passport has been issued.
  4. Submit the completed application form along with all other required documents in person to the nearest Immigration office in your locality.
  5. Ask the Immigration officer-in-charge to examine all submitted documents and check to see if the application form was duly completed. Inspection of documents must be done in his/her presence.
  6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
  7. The date of collection of passport shall be written on his/her payment receipt.
  8. Between the immigration office and the passport office his/her application will be processed for issue.
  9. The Passport Office shall inform his/her in writing in case there are any queries regarding him/her application.
  10. His/her passport shall be ready for pick up within 30 days upon submission of the application form and all other required documents.
  11. Collect your minor passport in person from the District or Regional Immigration Office in his/her region.
