Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Bursary Grant in Ghana, the applicant Ghana scholarship secretariat. contact link
2. Then, the applicant can get their application form for bursary grant.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
5. Make sure you filled in all the blanks. Applicant can contact scholarship secretariat if applicants aren't sure how to fill out part of the application.
6. Make sure your answers are readable. If applicant can, fill out the application from the Universities concerned because they request for application forms each academic year from the Scholarships Secretariat.
7. If applicants have to write out the application, print neatly.
8. If you're reusing material (such as a cover letter or an essay) from another scholarship application, make sure you haven't left in any incorrect names.
9. Proofread your application. Run spell check and grammar check on the application. Also, have someone else read your essays to catch mistakes and give him/her feedback.
10. The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
11. Submit applications to the registrar academics that have an essays, recommendations and lists of achievements that highlight your best qualities. The truth is what works for one person may not work for another. There are no secrets to applying. The best advice is to use common sense and follow directions.
12. The Completed application forms as well as signed list of applicants, a drafted financial Budget, should be submitted by the Registrar to the Scholarships Secretariat for processing. Some Bursary grants have deadlines early in the fall of senior year.
13. Mark the due dates on your calendar and work your way backward to figure out how much time you’ll have to get each piece of the application finished before the final Submission.

Eligibility

• Be a registered regular full time postgraduate student of a local public university.
• A certified copy of applicant admission letter.
• Sandwich and distance learning students are not eligible to apply.

The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.

The award covers the entire normal duration of a programme.

•  A bursary is a type of scholarship with the main purpose of providing financial support for students who aren't able to cover the cost of their education even with the help of their parents.

We, the undersigned accepted to re-pay the total amount spent by government of Ghana on the applicant plus, 30% interest or the going commercial rate whichever is higher if applicant through misconduct, omission or commission, is not able to successfully complete the course which he/she has been granted a scholarship /bursary.
