Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. The application form for Government of the Russian Federation Scholarship is available in the Scholarship Secretariat in the Ghana Contact link
2. An applicant has to approach the Ghana scholarship secretariat and applicants get their application form for Government of the Russian Federation Scholarship.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents are necessary for completing this procedure.
5. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the applicant from while submitting it at the office.
7. The processing fee for this procedure is Free of charge.
8. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
9. If all the above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their scholarship.
10. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
11. Generally, the processing time for this procedure is 6 weeks.

Required Documents

• Passport (must be valid for at least 3-4 more years
• Education document (WASSCE/Diploma+ transcript/etc.)
• A doctor’s certificate (medical certificate) confirming that there are no medical reasons not to accept you to a Russian university, including the results of an HIV test
• Copies of documents (notarized and translated into Russian).Copies of documents/certificates confirming your current level of education and/or qualification received in a foreign state.
• Hard copy to the united operator.

Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy the following:
Undergraduate:

• Be Ghanaian citizen resident in Ghana
• Should have completed their Senior High School Education (WASSCE) within the last 2 (two) years (i.e. 2019 or 2020).
• Score Aggregate six (6) to Nine (9) for Medicine and a minimum of aggregate fifteen (15) for other programs.
• Must not be more than twenty-three (23) years of age Postgraduate:
  • Hold second class upper bachelor degree in relevant subject
  • Must provide list of publication and/or (if any is available)
    
  • Must be proficient in the Russian language (both spoken and written)
    
  • Must have completed National service with two (2) years post qualification experience.
    
  • Must not be more than thirty-five (35) for Masters and 40 years age for PHD
    
  • Medical Specialty- 5 years working experience after completion of General Medical Programmed.

Validity

• Validity is based on the duration of the study program of study.

• Government scholarships are awarded to the most talented students on the basis of their academic merit. The commission looks at the applicant secondary school marks if the applicant applies for a Bachelor's programme or at your academic excellence during undergraduate studies if the applicants apply for a Master's program.
