Apply In-Person:
- To Apply for Farmer Based organisation Development in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Ghana Farmer Based organization Development Fund (FBODF) Ghana contact link
- Applicants approach the FBO secretariat office and applicants get their application form for Farmer Based organisation Development.
- Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
- Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
- There is no fee for this procedure.
- Submit your Application together with the developed project proposal to the District Steering Committee (DSC) who will evaluate your proposal in a period of less than a month upon receipt. After which the approved proposal are forwarded to FBODF secretariat in Accra in their original copies for further processing.
- Upon recipient of the Proposal and application Letter at the Farmers Based Organization development Fund Secretariat in Accra, The proposal is scrutinized to confirm that they meet the set standards and guidelines of the Fund. After approval that they have followed the set principals then the proposal is forwarded to AgSSIP coordinator for disbursement of Funds.
- Before funds are released the Farmers Based organization and the supplier MUST sign a Memorandum of understanding setting out the guarantee period, after sales service etc. The FBO and FBODF will also sign a financing agreement that spells out the respective roles of each organization. The turn-around time for all this is usually two-six months.
