Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Construction of Household Toilets in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) contact link
  2. Applicant must obtain the application form from the AMA office.
  3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
  4. Applicant must make sure to carry all the necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
  6. The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
  7. If all the above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by the concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their Construction of Household Toilets.
  8. This application will be processed and the information will be verified by AMA office.
  9. If the verification is successful, notification will be sent to the applicant.
  10. After seeing this notification, then the applicant must go to the respective office and the applicant will get the permit within 15 days.
