Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Co-operative Distillers License in Ghana, the applicant must go to the Ada East District Assembly (AEDA) office contact link
2. Applicants should obtain the required application form from the Ada East District Assembly Office.
3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. The completed application form should be submitted with the required documents.
7. After submission, his/her application along with the attached documents will be forwarded for further verifications.
8. Upon successful review, the applicant will be awarded with a new license.
9. The applicant will be notified to collect his practising license via text or phone call.
10. One is required to bring a proof of identification when collecting the documents.
11. If all the documents and information are satisfied, the authorities will be issued the License to the applicant.
12. Generally, the processing time for this procedure is 1 month.
