Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Cleaning of Venue during Special Events in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) contact link
2. Applicant must obtain the application form from AMA office.
3. Whether he/she notice a not clean for Venue during Special Events or other vegetation, contact AMA office for help as soon as possible.
4. Applicants can be obtained the application form from AMA office.
5. Applicant has to enter the name, residential address and postal address and other details.
6. Information related to the AMA office and the License authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts” section of this page.
7. The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and he/she can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
8. There is no fee for this procedure.
9. After seeing the application form they will send the plumber through the office to the address he/she specified to fulfil the applicant’s request.

• They do a great job of eliminating dirt and trash accumulated during the applicant’s event, leaving the place as it was before they used it. The absence of cleanliness in an event venue can turn even the grandest and most entertaining gathering into a horrible one.

• In august 2016, twelve (12) solid waste collection service providers were assigned, on franchise basis, to collect solid waste and corresponding revenue from premises in fifteen (15) service zones, for five years (September 2016 to August 2021). The number of service providers working in the Accra Metropolitan Assembly have been reduce to five (5) in five (5) service zones as a result of creation of new municipal assemblies from the AMA. The performances of these service providers in their respective service zones were evaluated for the period of January 2021 to April 2021.
