Apply In-person

1. To Apply for Alliance for poverty Eradication Fund (AFPE) in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Social Welfare Department contact link
2. An applicant has to approach the social welfare department and applicants get their application form.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.( Both photocopies and originals)
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. The duly filled form must be attached with the supporting documents and submitted to the social welfare officer.
7. A Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
8. If all above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the fund is issued.
9. If there is no information regarding grant’s is not provided by concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
10. Generally, the processing time for this procedure 6 weeks.

• Must be a civil society organisation based in Ghana.
• The organisation must have established relationship to the members of Danish AFPE present in Ghana.

Fees

• A fee has to be paid as per the authority’s request.

Validity

• Valid for this fund is 2-3 years.

• Organizations applying for the funds must be willing to join and participate in the network in which the applicant is destined.
• The applicant must be innovative in providing new methods or approaches or by providing new organizations and target groups.
• The amount asked must be below $10,000.
