Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Accreditation of Veterinary Laboratory in Ghana, the applicant should approach the Ghana National Accreditation Board department contact link
2. Applicant should obtain the application form from Ghana National Accreditation Service department.
3. The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
4. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
5. An application must be submitted to the director general.
6. The applicant receives NAB documentation and must then provide all elements required to determine the adequacy of the application.
7. A documentary review is carried out to determine the suitability of the file.
8. An assessment is conducted by a team of qualified NAB assessors and experts competent in the qualify and technical aspects related to the requested accreditation scope.
9. The director general makes a decision on granting of accreditation based on evaluation of all accreditation based on evaluation of all accreditation information.
10. The processing time for this procedure takes 60 days.
