Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Coffee Export License (permit) in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Food and Agriculture Offices in Ghana. Contact link
  2. Application form should obtain the respective office.
  3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
  4. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
  5. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
  6. Submit the completed application form and pay the required application fee and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
  7. Where the Authority is satisfied that the applicant for a certificate of registration for marketing coffee has satisfied all the requirements necessary for the grant of the registration certificate, and upon payment of the prescribed fee, the Authority may grant him the certificate
  8. Collect the applicant’s certificate of registration from where his/her application was submitted within a day from the date the application was received at Ghana MOFA authority in case there is no rejection.
  9. This process takes a maximum of 30 days.

  • A contractual agreement of office rent or office building plan
  • A document evidencing the capital allocated for the commercial activity

  • An export permit is required to ensure that goods exported by an individual or organisation comply with the provisions of international agreements. Export permits also help to control the outflow of goods of a strategic nature or of smuggled and stolen goods.
