Procedure

1. Gather all documents you will need to submit or present in order to register or re-register a vehicle.
2. Complete an application form.
3. Submit form along with all other required documents.
4. Pay all necessary fees.

Required Documents

Documents to be submitted by the owner of the vehicle to register a vehicle:

• Completed application form
• ID card;
• Document confirming the ownership of the vehicle;
• Inspection act;
• Receipt confirming the payment of the fee defined by legislation (fee for state number plates 35 GEL; fee for the registration certificate of the vehicle 35 GEL);
• Internal transit

Re-registration of the vehicle (In case of change of parking place or residence place or legal address of the owner):

• Completed application form
• Registration certificate of the vehicle;
• Inspection act;
• ID card or the document confirming the change of legal address;
• Receipt confirming the payment of the fee defined by law.

Instructions

Application for temporary registration of a vehicle are processed at the Registration Service of Service Agency. An imported vehicle must be registered within 45 days.

• Series and number of the vehicle registration certificate;
