  1. To apply for the procedure, you must complete an application form.
  2. Submit the form to the Bureau along with your actual and a copy of your ID card.
  3. You also need to submit other required documents needed for the processing of your license to obtain, register or import a firearm.
  4. Pay fees.

  • Bank receipts of payment of registration and permit fees:


IMPORT OF FIREARM FROM ABROAD:

  • Copy of citizen`s ID card;
  • Health certificate (2nd level);
  • Bank receipts of payment of registration and permit fees:


EXPORT OF FIREARM:

  • Copy of citizen`s ID card;
  • Health certificate (2nd level);

REGISTRATION OF PERSONALLY OWNED FIREARM:

  • Copy of citizen`s ID card;
  • Health certificate (2nd level);

SHOOTING GALLERY PERMIT:

  • Certificate on status of sport organization;
  • Report of the Permit Unit on meeting the criteria determined by the government;
  • Bank receipts of payment of permit fees (8 GEL).

Firearm licenses are issued by the Public Information Issue Bureau of the MoIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs)

Office hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm (weekdays).

In order to receive the application of a citizen for issuance of certain information, permit or certificate he/she should submitted to the Bureau his/her ID card and its copy, application forms are standard and are filled in on a place.
