Georgia - Apply for Permanent Electronic Residence Card

The application for Permanent Electronic Identity (ID) Card can be made at any branch of Public Services Hall and at territorial office of Public Service Development Agency. Following listed are office locations and other information that can be used.

Required DocumentsEdit
- Passport/Travel Document.
- Residence Permit.
- Biometric photo.
- Service fee payment confirmation document.
If registration of a person to the address according to his/her place of residence is requested, an interested person must submit in addition one of the following compulsory documents:
- Consent filled in by an apartment owner.
- Proof of ownership document.
- A written confirmation by two capable persons of full legal age, proving the fact that the document holder person lives to the certain address within the past one month; such confirmation must be expressed before the official authorized to accept an application.
An interested person must additionally present the following documents to obtain Electronic Permanent Residence Card for a minor:
- Birth certificate .

EligibilityEdit
Age :
- Electronic Permanent Residence Card shall be issued to a foreigner or stateless person holder a residence card with the right of permanent residence in Georgia regardless of age.
- An interested person has to obtain Electronic Permanent Residence Card within one month from the date of a residence permit or a status establishment in Georgia.
The following persons are eligible to apply for Electronic Permanent Residence Card:
- A capable person of full legal age, in person.
- A minor who attained 14 years of age.
- A legal representative (parent, guardian or custodian) of a minor (under 18 years of age), except for a person from age 16 to age 18 having a registered marriage.
- A guardian of a ward.

Terms of service and service fee for Electronic Permanent Residence Card :
On the 10th business day Service Fee 30 GEL.
On the 5th business day Service Fee 40 GEL
On the 3rd business day Service Fee 50 GEL
On the 2nd business day Service Fee 60 GEL
On the same day Service Fee 65 GEL.
ValidityEdit
Electronic Permanent Residence Card shall be issued to an interested person for the term of 5 (five) years;

- In case of a source document or document replacement, when the registration at the address should be made, an interested person applies to appropriate territorial office of Public Service Hall or Public Services Development Agency in accordance with the place of residence.
- If a document is to be replaced and no registration at the address is required, an interested person is entitled to apply to any territorial office of Public Service Hall or Public Services Development Agency.

Electronic Permanent Residence Card subjects to replacement in the following cases:
- If the document validity term expires.
- In case of name or surname change.
- In case of established inaccuracies in records.
- If unusable (damage, wear out) or lost
A ready Electronic Permanent Residence Card shall be delivered to:
- A person of full legal age holder a residence card;
- A minor holder of a residence card who attained 14 years of age.
- A legal representative of a minor (under 18 years of age), except for a person from 16 years of age to 18 years of age, having a registered marriage.
- A guardian of a ward.
Note: an interested person, while applying for Electronic Residence Card, may request the delivery of the document by post to his indicated address.
