Procedure

The application for Electronic Identity (ID) Card can be made at any any branch of Public Services Hall, territorial office of Public Service Development Agency and at Diplomatic representation and consular missions of Georgia abroad. Required Documents

An interested person must submit the following documents:

• Application in the prescribed form.
• Biometric photo.
• Birth certificate.
• A service fee payment confirmation document.

Eligibility

• An interested capable person of full legal age, in person.
• A minor who attained 14 years of age.
• A legal representative (parent, custodian or trustee) of a minor (under 18 years of age) except for a person from age 16 to age 18 having a registered marriage.
• A guardian of a ward.

Fees

On the 10th business day : 30 GEL
On the 5th business day : 40 GEL
On the 3rd business day : 50 GEL
Within 24 hours : 60 GEL
On the same day : 65 GEL

Validity

Electronic ID Card is issued for :

• 4 years to persons under age of 18.
• 10 years to persons above age of 18.

Instructions

• A citizen of Georgia has to obtain Electronic ID Card within 6 months after attaining 14 years of age.
• If desired by legal representative, Electronic ID Card of a citizen of Georgia may be issued to a person under 14 years of age.
