Apply In-Person

  1. Application form is available in the U.S. Consulate or Embassy contact link
  2. Applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
  3. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
  4. The fee for this procedure has been mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page.
  5. Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before providing an approval.
  6. Approval will be provided within 6 -11 weeks.
  7. If the approval has not been given within 6-11 weeks, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

  2. Applicant must provide all information necessary for application procedure.
  3. Finally, applicant has to click on “Submit” button.

  5. The fee for this procedure has been mentioned in the process.
  6. Applicants must print out the form and submit it in person or by mail.
  7. After getting approval from concerned authorities, passport will be provided within 6 - 11 weeks.


Apply by Mail

  1. Application is available in the following link
  2. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
  3. Take a new Passport size photo.
  4. Place signed form, passport size photo, previously issues passport, and fee for the procedure in an envelope.
  5. The fee for this procedure has been mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page.
  6. Mail the envelope to the appropriate office. Office mentioned in the “Office Locations & contacts” section of this page.
