This procedure explains various ways to Obtain Beep Card in General Santos.
Please follow the guide below to obtain a Beep Card:
- Search the nearest Ticket Vending machine (TVM):
- The beep cards can be purchased from any of the 44 stations of LRT1, LRT2 and MRT3 by approaching any of the teller’s booth or using the self-service Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs). They are also available in all Metro Manila branches of Family Mart. You can also purchase a beep card from HM Transport’s Alabang Town Center and Market! Market! Terminals, etc.

- Obtain Beep Card in the TVM
- Beep cards can be purchased with a one-time card fee of Php20 in the train stations. Outside the train stations, the cards are sold for Php50. In the TVM, please choose Single Journey Ticket or Stored Valued Card.
- The Single Journey Ticket is applicable only in one-way train trip. The amount you expense in the card depends on what route or station you are going. After processing your transaction in the TVM, in entrance area just tap and go. After that in exit area, just insert in order to lease the card. The card must insert in order to leave it because this is only applicable in single journey ticket.
- If you choose the Stored Valued Card, you can see the “Please Insert Cash” flash on the TVM Screen. First buy the beep card for only Php20. Insert Php50 or depending on the desired amount in the TVM “In sert Paper Bills” area. Please make sure the money you insert is neat or not crumple. Then press OK on the TVM Screen and wait for obtain your beep card and receipt under the TVM Screen. If you want to reload your beep card, place the card on the Beep Logo of the TVM, press the add value, then insert the desired amount and press OK. Now you use it by go to entrance, just tab the card on the beep logo and go, in Exit area, just tab the card on the beep logo and go.

No minimum load and can have a maximum load of P10,000

You can obtain a Beep Card to use in riding the trains LRT1, LRT2 and MRT3 and use in select bus lines or to pay for your toll fees, purchase items, movie tickets in a network of providers. We have six types of Beep Card but two of them are standard beep cards with original meaning as wallets and no KYC (Know Your Customer) required. Remain types is far from this meaning, such as Co-branded Multi-Function Card, Co-branded Marketing Card, Transit Product and Concessionary Card, they spend for special purposes and objects as senior Citizens, Students, PWD (Person With Disability), etc. with cardholder identify, discount purpose, logo advertising, co-operation with other card types. In here, we just explain about the original Beep Cards, such as Stored Valued Cards and Single Journey Tickets that are common in Philippines.
