Procedure

1.An applicant starts by identifying the nearest issuing agency in home or neighbouring Country. 2.When the nearest issuing agency is identified, the applicant should visit it to find out what is required in order to obtain a transit visa;

3.Then the applicant goes ahead to prepare all the documents require;

4.Obtain a visa application form from the issuing office and fill it carefully and accurately;

5.Make all the necessary payments;

6.Attached all the required documents prepare in 3 above plus the payment slip onto the filled application form; and

7.Thereafter submits application to the issuing office; and

8.Wait for visa to be processed.

Instructions

1.An applicant must ensure that his / her passport is valid passport;

2.In cases where a passport has expired or has no blank page, the applicant must renew passport before applying;

3.The visa is issued only to applicants continuing to third destinations;

4.Applicant must obtain onward tickets and visa before applying for a transit visa to Gabon;

5.An applicant must not overstay beyond visa validity;

6.The transit visa does not allow holders to engage in any kind of business or paid activities;

7.Foreigners are advised to enter through designated entry points;

8.Applicants must not carry prohibited materials when entering the country;

9.Applicants are argues to ensure that they have enough funds to take them through their transit journey

10.Applicants travelling with children must obtain documents that prove parental responsibility or that grant permit to do so;
