Procedure

How to Apply:

1. You should visit the Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale (CNSS) office near you and express your interest at the service desk.
2. Request form can be obtain at any CNSS branch office or download it via the CNSS website portal or click the link below to download:(Request form)
3. Submit the completed duly filed application form along with the supporting documents (listed under “Required Documents” section) for verification and processing to the attending official at the CNSS.
4. If the authorized official is satisfied that all the documents are in order you will be notified of the outcome in 6 months and be given further instruction.

Required Documents

• Birth certificate or supplementary judgment (legalized photocopy) - compulsory
• The applicant's social security card;
• Work certificates from all employers;
• 2 passport photos;
• The medical certificate justifying premature physical or mental wear duly signed by a Caisse doctor.
• Identification document(ID card/valid passport)
• Pay slips
• Hiring or termination certificates.
• Any other documents that may be requested by the CNSS official

Eligibility

Service is open to all incapacitated insured person with the CNSS who meet the following criteria.

• be over 50.
• have been registered with the CNSS for at least 20 years.
• have completed at least 120 months of insurance in the last 20 years preceding the date of pension entitlement.
• have ceased all salaried activity.
• be affected by premature wear and tear of his physical or mental faculties making him unfit to exercise a salaried activity.
• Produce the medical certificate issued by the Medical Officer or by a CNSS doctor.

Fees

• No fees associated with the service

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.

Instructions

• The early pension takes effect on the first day of the calendar month following the date on which the required conditions have been fulfilled, provided that the pension request has been sent to the fund within six months of the said date.
• If the pension request is submitted after the expiration of this period, the pension takes effect on the first day of the calendar month following the date of receipt of the request with a retroactivity of six months.

Need for the Document

• This is a pension scheme which is granted to you, if you are an employee having reached the age of 50 years at least and ceased your professional activity for personal convenience, and if you cease your activity for premature wear of the organization after 20 years of service validated.
