Fiji - Transfer of Unique Number Plates (Between Vehicles)

Apply In-Person:

To transfer the Unique Number Plates (between vehicles), the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts Link
The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office.
Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
For transferring the unique number plate, it must be first surrendered to the CSO in the LTA office.
The application form should be filled with necessary details and along with the required documents it should be submitted to the CSO – Customer Service Officer.
The CSO will update the details of the application in the Fiji LTA system. After that, the CSO will issue the 3rd party amendment letter to the applicant.
The applicant must get a new 3rd party amendment letter, and it must be submitted again to the CSO, and the details of the new 3rd party amendment will be updated in the system.
Now the applicant must pay the application fee of $18 to the CSO.
After paying the fee, the CSO will issue the “Running Number” and the “New Registration Certificate” to the applicant. (For the transferred vehicle)

The processing time for this procedure will be intimated by the authorities in the Fiji LTA office.

Consent Letter from the Financier. (If vehicle is under financial interest)
Valid Vehicle registration. (For both the vehicles)
Fee Receipt.

EligibilityEdit

The vehicle owner who owns the Unique Number Plate in Fiji is eligible to transfer it between the vehicles.
The applicant should have the valid Registration for both the vehicles to transfer it.
