Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To register as a Temporary Medical Practitioner or Dental Doctor in Fiji, you must email the application form to the concerned authority in Fiji Medical & Dental Secretariat. Contacts
2. The application form must be downloaded from the Fiji Medical & Dental Secretariat’s official website. Application form
3. The application form must be filled with the necessary details.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
5. All the documents must be scanned and attached along with the application form.
6. The application fee must be paid in the official bank account, and the evidence of payment must also be emailed along with the application form.
7. The completed application must be emailed to [email protected].
8. The application form will be forwarded to the Fiji Medical & Dental Council.
9. After verifying the application, the Fiji Medical & Dental Council will approve the temporary registration for Medical Practitioner or Dental Doctor.
10. On arrival to Fiji to practice as a temporary Medical practitioner or Dental Doctor, you must submit the certified copies of the documents to the Secretariat in Fiji.

• If you are a student, letter of support from your Medical School/University.
• Details of indemnity coverage whilst in Fiji.
• Letter of good standing
• Current practice certificate from applicant’s country of practice.
• Letter of support from local medical doctor & from sponsoring body;
• Detailed information of your planned visit. Inter alia, details of actual dates, venues & scope of practice.
• A detailed report after the visit
• Fee payment proof.

• The Cheque payment should be made in the name of “Secretariat of the Fiji Medical & Dental Councils”.
• Also, if you want to make direct payment, you should add your details in the payer section (Practitioners Registration Number & Name) & deposit the fee in ANZ Account * 10737532.

Validity

The Temporary Medical Practitioner and Dental Doctor registration is valid for only 3 months.
