Apply In-Person:

  1. The Tax Identification Number must be obtained from the Fiji Revenue and Customs Services. Contacts
  2. TIN is provided for Individual applicant and also for Business Applicant.
  3. The application form for the TIN registration is must be obtained from the Fiji Revenue and Customs Services, or else it can be downloaded from the official website.

  6. The application form must be filled with the necessary details.
  7. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
  8. The filled application form must be submitted in the Fiji Revenue and Customs Services.
  9. The authorities will verify the application and then will issue the Tax Identification Number (TIN) to the applicant.
  10. It will take up to 3 working days to process the Tax Identification Number.


Apply through Online:

  1. The TIN registration application can also be made through the Tax Payer Online Services of Fiji Revenue and Customs Services. Online Portal
  2. If you are new user, you must Sign-Up by selecting the option “New Taxpayer”.
  3. From the drop-down, you have either select any one of the option depending on your application type.
    • Individual
    • Non-individual
    • Tax Agent
  4. You must give other details to sig-up, such as,
    • Name
    • User ID
    • Email Address
    • Country
    • Mobile Number
    • Password
  5. After signing-up, you have to login using the created User ID and Password.
  6. After logging in, you have enter the necessary details and upload the filled application form.
  7. The application form will be verified by the authorities in Revenue and Custom department.
  8. Finally, the applicant will be issued with the Tax Identification Number.
  9. It will take less than 3 working days to process the Tax Identification Number.

For Individual TIN application:

  • Digital passport photo. (with white background)
  • Original birth certificate.
  • Photo ID of applicant. (passport, elections voter card, driver’s licence, FNPF card)
  • Original marriage certificate. (for spouse opting to use married name on joint ID card)
  • Photo ID of third party submitting form on behalf of applicant.
  • Student offer letter from educational institute. (if student is a foreign national)
  • Certified Copy of the Passport (Bio data page) for non-residents.


For Non-Individual TIN application:

  • Business registration certificate.
  • Investment Fiji certificate.
  • Photo ID of accountable representatives. (passport, elections voter card, driver’s licence, joint ID card)
  • Photo ID of third party submitting form on behalf of applicantIdentification documents of the Applicant.
