ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To obtain the Inspection Certificate for Heavy Goods Vehicle, the applicant must visit the authorized Vehicle Inspection Agencies.
  2. There are 8 authorized agencies approved by the Fiji Land Transport Authority, namely, Carpenters Motors, Asco Motors, Wheels Pacific, Kia Motors, Eskay Motors, Millennium Motors, Dee Ace and Motor Management Services Ltd.
  3. The Heavy goods vehicle must be inspected in any one of the vehicle Inspection Agencies.
  4. After Inspecting the Vehicle, the agency will issue the Inspection Certificate for Heavy Goods Vehicle to the applicant.
  5. The Inspection Certificate fee of $13.74 must be paid to get the Certificate from the Agencies.
  6. The processing time for this procedure will be intimated by the agency to the applicant.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • If the authorities in the Fiji LTA insists, then the Vehicle owner must get the Vehicle inspection certificate from the agencies and submit it in the LTA office.
  • New Vehicle, Imported Vehicle, Second hand vehicle, Self Import Vehicle, Locally assembled vehicle, and Renewed Registration vehicle needs Inspection Certificate as a Mandatory document.
