Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Motor Vehicle driving test, the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts
2. Before appearing for the driving test, the applicant must get the appointment, and the applicant should appear in person at the LTA appointment counter to get the appointment.
3. The “Application to Undergo Test to Drive a Motor Vehicle/Trailer” form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office, else it can be downloaded from the website. Form
4. The application form must be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents it should be submitted to the CSO – Customer Service Officer in Fiji LTA office.
5. While submitting the application form, the applicant must inform the date and time that he/she would like to take Driving Test.
6. The CSO will update the application details in the system, and now, the application fee must be paid, which is
   • $10.43 for Class 1,2, and 8.
   • $15.17 for Class 3 and 4.
   • $19.90 for Class 5,6, and 7.
7. The fee payment receipt will be issued to the applicant along with the Driving Test date and time.
8. The applicant must visit the LTA office on the mentioned date to undergo their Driving Test.
9. The processing time and the fee for this procedure will be intimated by the authorities in the Fiji LTA office.

Eligibility

• The applicant should be greater than 17 years. (If applying for class 1, 2 and 8 DT).
• They should have a valid Learners Permit. (Not expired). (For all classes of license).
• They should also have Valid Approval Letter. (For classes 3, 4 and 5).
  

Fees

• Driving test appointment for classes 1,2 or 8 - $​10.43
• Driving test appointment for classes 3 or 4 - $​15.17
• Driving test appointment for classes 5,6,7 or 9 - $​19.90
  

Validity

The driving test application is valid until getting the driving license.
