Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. The Visa application form must be submitted to the Director of Immigration Department for overseas application. Contacts
2. You have to fill the Visa Application form and submit it to the Immigration officer in the airport.
3. The form will be available in the Immigration office, else you can download it from the Fiji Immigration’s Official Website. Application Form
4. The Visa Application from should be filled with all the necessary details.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The filled application form must be submitted along with the required documents and prescribed fee for the permit.
7. The immigration department officer will go through the application form and grant the Visa to the applicant.
8. The visa approval process takes 3 working days.
   

Apply Online:

1. To apply for the Visa, you must visit Fiji Immigration’s official Website Link
2. Before starting the application form, make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. You can check the document requirements checklist on the website too.
4. All the documents must be in PDF format.
5. You can upload up to 30 documents in the application form.
6. On the webpage, you have to fill in all the necessary details and then upload the documents.
7. The details to be filled in the online application are:
   • Name
   • Date of Birth
   • Email
   • Phone Number
   • Address
   • Nearest Office (Select Applying Overseas/Location Name)
   • New Application/ Extension (Select New Application)
   • Lodgement Application Type (Visa)
   • Upload Documents
   • Additional Notes/Comments (If any)
8. You must give a valid email address and phone number, which will be used for further communication purposes.
9. After uploading the required documents, apply by selecting the “Submit” option.
10. The payment has to be done via Direct Deposits.
11. After the payment confirmation, the visa application will be verified and approved by the Immigration Officer.
12. The visa approval process takes 3 working days.

Eligibility

• Visa may be granted to a non-citizen if for visiting friends/families, for holiday, business purposes, and transit purposes or for joining a vessel as crew or passenger.
• Visa may also be granted to a representative of a foreign government and his/her relative.
  

Fees

The mode of payment accepted by the Fiji Immigration Department is Direct Deposits only.

• Single Entry Fees - $ 91
• Multiple Entry Fees - $ 180
  

Validity

• Single Entry visa is valid for 3 months and can be used for Single journey.
• Multiple Entry visa is valid for 12 months from the issue date, and the duration of the each stay should not exceed 4 months.

Instructions

• The Visa’s are endorsed on the passport.
• If the passport is not submitted, a visa approval letter is sent to the successful applicant.
• The notification will contain information on the approval of the visa, validity of the visa and duration of the stay in Fiji.
• If the visa application is unsuccessful, the applicant is notified in writing of the refusal of visa application and justified reasons for refusal.

Visa is a pre entry authority issued to a non-citizen passport holder from non-visa exempted countries that authorizes the passport holder, to travel from his/her country or any destination country outside of Fiji to Fiji’s borders.
