Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for Study Permit, the applicant must visit the Fiji Immigration Department. The overseas applicants must send the application to the Director of Fiji Immigration. Contacts
2. The application form should be obtained from the authorities in the Immigration department or else can be downloaded from the website. Application Form
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and then it should be submitted along with the required documents to the Director of Immigration Department.
5. After completely verifying the documents, the Immigration Department Officer will grant the study permit to the applicant.

7. The process of getting the study permit approval takes between 3 days and 1 month.

Apply online

1. To apply for the Fiji Study Permit, the applicant must visit Fiji Immigration’s official Website. Online Portal Link
2. The applicant can directly start applying using this link, there is no separate account creation is required.
3. Before starting the application form, make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
4. The document requirement checklist is also available on the online portal.
5. Make sure to carry all the documents in PDF format.
6. The maximum limit of document to upload in the online portal is 30.
7. On the webpage, the applicant must fill in all the necessary details and then upload the documents.
8. The applicant should give a valid email address and phone number, which will be used for further communication purposes.
9. After uploading the required documents, apply by selecting the “Submit” option.
10. The payment must be done via Direct Deposits.
11. After the payment confirmation, the study permit application will be verified and approved by the Immigration Officer.

• Only Individual application is accepted by the Fiji Immigration Department. No bulk/batch application should be made.
• If the study permit applicant is a married person, then
• He / She must submit the Marriage Certificate
• Children’s Birth Certificate
• Police Report for Spouse
• Medical Reports for spouse and children (if applying for a permit)
• A completely filled application is only accepted.
