ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Reservation of Land, the applicant must visit the iTaukei Land Trust Board office in Fiji. Contact Link
  2. The applicant must submit a written letter expressing their interest in land reservation to the TLTB or the Reserve Commissioner.
  3. After submitting the letter, the authorities will visit the place and inspect the land, whether people are living or any improvements are made in the mentioned land.
  4. Later, the applicant will be further investigated by the Reserve Commissioner regarding the details of the land.
  5. If all the details are clear, then the Reserve Commissioner will recommend to the authorities of TLTB for the land reservation.
  6. After the approval from the TLTB’s Board of Trustees, the land reservation details will be published in the Government gazette and also in the daily newspapers.
  7. The fee details and the processing time to reserve the land will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
