Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for the replacement of vehicle (PSV permit), the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details and along with the required documents it should be submitted to the CSO – Customer Service Officer.
5. The CSO and the Team Leader in the LTA office will verify the application form.
6. It will be forwarded to the RM for approval process.
7. The RM will finally approve the application form. (If the application gets rejected, the applicant will be issued with the Rejection letter)
8. After getting the permit approval letter, the applicant must pay the replacement permit fee.
9. If the applicant is revoking the vehicle, then the fee is $13.74, and if the applicant is suspending the vehicle, then the fee is $10.00.
10. After paying the fees, the permit card will be printed and issued to the applicant.
11. The processing time for this procedure will be intimated by the authorities in the Fiji LTA office.

Eligibility

• Only the permit holder must lodge the application for the replacement of vehicle (PSV permit)
• The applicant must have a valid vehicle registration as well as PSV permit to apply for the replacement process.
• Also, all the convicted TINs must be cleared before applying.

Fees

• The revocation fee is $13.74.
• The suspension fee is $10.00. (With arrears)

Validity

• The validity of the replacement of vehicle will be mentioned in the permit issued to the applicant.
