Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Boxing Licences and Overseas Boxing Contests, the applicant must go to the Boxing Commissions of Fiji office.Contact Link
2. The applicant must obtain the approved application form from the authorities in the Boxing Commissions Office.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents, it should be submitted to the Commission for registration in the Boxing Commissions office.
5. The prescribed application fee must be paid and the receipt must be attached with the application form.
6. Then, the Commission will verify the application form.
7. If the documents and the details of the applicant are legitimate, then the boxing and overseas boxing contests license application will be approved by the Boxing Commission.
8. The approved license is valid for the duration of 1 year.
9. The application and license fee details will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
10. The processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

Eligibility

• The registered professional boxers are eligible to apply for boxing license and overseas boxing contests license.
• Also, the professionals should be between 18 years and 40 years of age. (Below or beyond this age must provide medical and fitness certificate to get the eligibility)
  

Fees

The application and license fee details will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

Validity

The boxing license and overseas boxing contests license valid for 1 year.

Need for the Document

Without the boxing license approved by the Boxing Commissions of Fiji, none of the boxers are allowed to perform in any professional as well as amateur boxing fights in Fiji.

• If the boxer commits any offense during the license period, then the punishment will be either:
• Penalty of $100,000 / Imprisonment for 5 years.
