Apply In-Person:
- The copy of Birth Certificate must be obtained either from the Post Fiji outlet or the Fiji Registrar office. Contacts , Contacts
- The child’s parent must provide the necessary documents to the authorities in the Fiji Registrar office.
- Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The fee must be paid for getting the Birth Certificate, check the fee payment details mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- After verifying the documents, the applicant must pay the Birth Certificate printing fee.
- After that, Birth Certificate will be issued to the applicant.
- For First Time Registration - It will take 3 working days to issue the Birth Certificate for both Online and Offline application.
- For Re-Printing Birth Certificate – It will take 1 day to issue the Re-Print of Birth Certificate.
Apply Online:
- The Birth Certificate can be applied in the Fiji’s e-Services website. Online Portal
- The applicant must create an account using the Email ID on the website.
- After creating the account, you have to log in with the “Username” and “Password”.
- Then you must fill the necessary details on the website portal.
- Also, you have to upload the documents.
- Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The fee must be paid for getting the Birth Certificate, check the fee payment details mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- After completing the application, you have to submit the application form.
- The Fiji Ministry of Justice will approve the application form, and they will issue the Birth Certificate to the applicant.
- For First Time Registration - It will take 3 working days to issue the Birth Certificate for both Online and Offline application.
- For Re-Printing Birth Certificate – It will take 1 day to issue the Re-Print of Birth Certificate.
Apply through Overseas:
- The overseas applicant can obtain the copy of your birth certificate from the country of residence. Contacts
- The applicant must visit the Fiji overseas office or diplomatic representatives of Fiji in foreign countries.
- Then, you must provide the valid ID proof to the officials in the overseas office.
- After paying the desired fee, the applicant will be issued with the Birth Certificate.

- Original Birth Notification issued by Fiji medical institution.
- Registration of Birth Form.
- The photo identification ID of the child’s parents.
- The original/certified copy marriage certificate of the child’s parents (where applicable)
- If getting the copy of already produced Birth Certificate, you must give any one of the Valid ID proof.

- The applicant must have the Birth Notification from Fiji Medical Institution. (For First Time)
For Online Registration:
- One parent should have e-Profile account and the baby should be born at any of Fiji medical institutions.

- In Post Fiji - Printing the Birth Certificate - $ 16.35
